8/19/26 Corn up 10, Beans up 21, Wheat up 16 Crude Oil-85.40 up .46 US Dollar-98.83 down .82 Dow Jones-53,442.46 up 99.06 Bulls were fed lower than expected bean pod counts and weaker corn yield estimates on day two of the ProFarmer Tour. Today scouts were in Bloomington, Illinois and Nebraska City, Nebraska. Parts of Illinois and Indiana are still saturated from recent +8” rains in some areas. More rain is forecasted for the eastern belt later this week which sparks concerns of localized flooding. Funds are adding to their longs on the idea that this crop could get smaller with the recent weather issues in the East. As if there isn’t enough to focus on right now, we need to keep in mind there are two wars still raging on, and harvest is knocking on our door. Volatility brings opportunity! Brynna
