Rumors that China was nosing around for beans gave futures something to grasp onto today, although nothing was confirmed. Corn closed unchanged with US weather wet and plenty hot for the next few days, benefiting the already decent crop. Tomorrow is the monthly WASDE, but traders are only estimating mild changes to the May numbers.
